Description
This is a simple to use 12V Electronic Cabinet/Door Lock. You can use it to lock and unlock Cabinets/Doors using a 12V power supply. These Locks are basically electromagnets. The lock normal position (when no power supply) is locked as the lock tongue is outside and fully extended. When 12V power is applied, the lock electromagnetic coil is activated, the lock tongue is retracted (pushed inside the lock) and the lock is opened. You will need a fairly good power supply to drive a lock, as a lot of current will rush into the lock to charge up the electro-magnet. You can also use our relay boards to control the lock from an Arduino. You may also use one of our fingerprints (R307 - R305- K202 ) as an access control to electronic lock as shown in video below.
