Description

Ball Screw is one of the most efficient mechanisms of generating linear motion and axial positioning in machines. It is efficient because it is precise, fast and almost frictionless. The steel balls between the screw shaft and the free axial moving nut enables for smooth and harmonic motion with minimum backlash. How does it work? Simple, the axial screw shaft is coupled with the driving motor and supported by rotary bearings. When the motor rotate the axial screw shaft, the moving nut bearing slide on the shaft in linear motion and when the motor stop, the moving nut stop in the required position. When the motor rotates in the reverse direction, the nut moves back and so on.
