Kyoritsu 3122b The Kyoritsu KEW 3122B is a battery‑powered, analogue high‑voltage insulation resistance tester designed for field and shop use. Its robust, ergonomic housing and built‑in hard case protect the instrument and leads during transport, while the analogue pointer and colour‑coded scales provide immediate visual feedback on insulation condition. Auto‑ranging between low and high resistance scales (0–5 GΩ / 2–200 GΩ) allows the tester to maintain full output voltage (5 kV ± 5%) down to 0.2 GΩ, ensuring accurate readings even on partially deteriorated insulation. Bright LEDs indicate which range is active, complementing the analogue display for rapid judgment in bright or low‑light environments. Weighing approximately 1.7 kg (including eight C‑cell batteries) and rated to CAT III 600 V / CAT IV 300 V, the KEW 3122B delivers up to 40 hours of continuous use.
