Kyoritsu 3128 The KYORITSU KEW 3128 is a microprocessor-controlled, high-voltage digital insulation resistance tester designed for comprehensive insulation diagnostics. It supports six test voltage ranges from 500 V up to 12 kV, enabling measurements of insulation resistance up to 35 TΩ. Its large graphical display with bar graph and backlight visualizes insulation resistance and leakage current trends, facilitating rapid assessment of insulation health. Built-in rechargeable lead-acid battery and AC power supply allow uninterrupted operation in laboratory or field settings. The instrument offers advanced diagnostic tests including IR (basic insulation resistance), PI (Polarization Index), DAR (Dielectric Absorption Ratio), DD (Dielectric Discharge), and SV (Step Voltage), automatically calculating indices and displaying results. During insulation tests, leakage current and capacitance are measured and shown. A filter function mitigates reading fluctuations on unstable high-resistance measurements. Real-time or logged data (up to 90 minutes at 1-second intervals) can be saved in internal memory (approx. 43,000 data points) and transferred to PC via USB for analysis.
