DCL1000 The Sanwa DCL1000 is a professional-grade AC clamp meter with integrated digital multimeter functions, engineered for high-capacity current measurements and versatile diagnostic tasks. Its large-diameter clamp sensor (42 mm inner jaw) accommodates conductors up to 1000 A AC without disconnecting wiring, making it ideal for inspecting heavy-duty power circuits, switchgear, and busbars. The instrument employs a Δ–Σ average-sensing method, presenting readings on a 4000-count LCD at up to three samples per second, alongside clear over-range and polarity indicators. A broad DMM feature set including AC/DC voltage (400 mV to 600 V), resistance up to 40 MΩ, continuity buzzer, and diode test eliminates the need for a separate meter. User-friendly controls provide Data Hold, Range Hold, and Relative (zero-offset) functions to capture and compare measurements under dynamic loads. To enhance safety, the DCL1000 meets IEC 61010-2-032 CAT III 600 V and IEC 61010-031 double-insulation standards, and its removable test-pin covers upgrade protection from CAT II 1000 V to CAT III 600 V. Auto power-off after 30 minutes conserves battery life (approx. 120 hours at DCV), while a low-battery indicator ensures timely replacement. Weighing just 290 g and supplied with test leads and a carrying case, the DCL1000 combines rugged durability with precise performance for demanding electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
